I am a registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC#1992) who specializes in relationship issues that include couples, families, and single individuals who may have had unsuccessful experiences in the past or are wanting to be involved in a long term committed relationship for the first time.

Becoming a Counsellor

Over 20 years ago I went through a painful divorce. At that time I enrolled in a course called “Rebuilding” by Dr. Bruce Fisher. This was the catalyst for significant growth and sparked my interest in Psychology. As a result I was trained and became a facilitator for this course. At the time I was a journeyman carpenter but knew that this was born out of necessity and not my true calling.

As a result I went back to university and completed my Masters in Psychology and then on to a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. The leaning  and passion for my work continues to grow.

I have facilitated groups for divorced and separated people in Australia and Canada. Currently I am providing services to greater Vancouver, North & West Vancouver and as far as Squamish/ Whistler. As well as my private practice and am a member of a group a therapists that include Dr. Dan Stone Ph.D. and four other professionals with various specialties. This group supplies counselling services to corporate companies and their employees (EAP) and well as to a private population. Collectively there are few issues that can not be addressed should they be outside my areas of expertise.
